<p>Disclosed herein is an apparatus for passing a control line and a fluid supply line through an opening in a boat transom while maintaining water-tight integrity, which apparatus comprises a mounting plate including a first surface having a peripheral portion adapted to be sealingly fixed to the margin around the opening in the boat transom and a second surface remote from the boat transom, which mounting plate includes a central portion located inwardly of the peripheral portion and including therein a bore, a control line passing through the bore, a grommet between the bore and the control line, an anchor fixed to the central portion of the mounting plate and engaging the grommet to sealingly engage the grommet between the control line and the central portion of the mounting plate, whereby to provide water-tight integrity, and a fluid supply line extending through the mounting plate between the first and second surfaces, while maintaining water-tight integrity and including, adjacent one of the first and second surfaces, a fitting forming a part of the supply line and including a fitting for detachable connection to a continuation of the fluid supply line.</p> |
