PURPOSE:To classifly sheets into normal sheets and abnormal sheets reliably and easily by providing distinguish and discharge means to discharge an abnormal sheet to a position different from a position for a normal sheet. CONSTITUTION:A sheet jammed in the course of a paper transport path is manually removed, and when a start switch ST is turned on, an abnormal sheet 10b in a paper transport path is discharged to a paper discharge tray 12 by a purge function, and subsequently, the remaining normal sheets 10a are discharged onto the discharge tray 12. In the discharge tray 12, the normally copied sheets 10a are piled at the back part of the tray, and the abnormal sheets 10b are piled at the front part of the tray, so that the completion of copying, the normal copy sheets 10a and the abnormal copy sheets 10b are easily sorted. |
