PURPOSE:To perform the intermittent feed and to reduce the power supply loss by comparing the load voltage of a power supply part with two types of reference voltage to stop the working of the power supply section when the load voltage reaches the higher reference voltage level and to restart the power supply section when the load voltage reaches the lower reference voltage level respectively. CONSTITUTION:An AC power supply 1 is connected to the input of a power supply part 300 of a power supply device via a relay 401; while a load 5 is connected to the output of the part 300 via a diode 302. A capacitor 303 is connected in parallel to the load 5. These types of voltage are supplied to a voltage comparator 304, and the relay 401 is controlled according to the result of voltage comparison. The comparator 304 consists of operational amplifiers 406 and 407, and the reference voltage is supplied to both amplifiers by Zener diodes 408 and 409 respectively. Thus the relay 401 is turned on to charge the capacitor 303 in a feed mode. Then the relay 401 is opened to discharge the load 5 through the capacitor 303. While a flip-flop 410 is set when the voltage is dropped less by the discharge. Then the capacitor 303 is charged again through the part 300. |
