<p>An insert for a fluid flow system is constructed of a body having a plurality of faces two of which are adapted to mate with corresponding faces of fluid flow components of the system with the body inserted therebetween and a plurality of stud adapters each of which has an externally threaded male end and an internally threaded female end and an enlarged portion forming a bearing surface. One end of each stud adapter is adapted to threadedly engage one of the system components with the bearing surface in bearing contact with the corresponding face thereof for supporting the body with one body face in contact with one of the system components and the other end of each stud adapter is adapted to be threadedly engaged with the mechanism for mounting the other of the system components in contact with the other body face.</p> |
