PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform temperature distribution, by arranging communication current passages between discharge current passages so that even if the air conditioner is installed in a room in a deviated manner, the air can be caused to convect. CONSTITUTION:The air in a room is sucked by rotation of a blower (c) via a suction port (d) and an orifice (m) into the blower (c), then is discharged to outlets i2, i3 of an air guider section i7, is blown to heat exchange sections e1, e2, and is blown out into a room from outlets g1, g2 via current paths f1, f2. When a wind direction adjusting plate h1 is adjusted to a little bit closed, and a wind direction adjusting plate h2 is adjusted to a little bit opened, since the resistance at the outlets g1 increases more than the resistance at the outlet g2, part of air that has passed the outlet i2 of a drain pan (i) flows via communication current passages i4, i5 to leave from the outlet g2. Therefore, a little amount of air current is discharged from the outlet g1, while a large amount of air current is discharged from the outlet g2. |
