PURPOSE:To prevent securely a stepping motor from reversal in start by memorizing the exciting phase of the stepping motor in stoppage and starting sequentially the excitation from different phases with reference to a plurality of paper supply rollers according to said memorized exciting phase. CONSTITUTION:This paper supply device has a first paper supply roller 6 rotated through a timing belt 15, one-way clutch, etc. by a reversible stepping motor 12 and a second paper supply roller 10 rotated through a timing belt 18, one- way clutch, etc. by said motor 12. Both rollers are pressed against stacked blanks in first and second cassettes 2, 7 respectively. When said motor 12 is then controlled, the exciting phase of said motor in the stoppage is memorized and the excitation is sequentially controllably in the opposite directions respectively started from the phase adjacent one side of the exciting phase memorized in the drive of the paper supply roller 6 and from the phase adjacent the other side of the exciting phase stored in the drive of the paper supply roller 10. |
