The present invention relates to the field of communications. Provided is a language control method for a set top box. The method comprises the following steps: 101, receiving a video/audio image transmitted by a network side; 102, extracting audio data, and monitoring a language of the audio data; 103, translating the audio data into data in a target language, and then replacing the language of the audio data with the target language; 104, hiding an original subtitle, and displaying the data in the target language. The present invention has the advantage of being adaptable to multiple languages. |
