REPRODUCTION CIRCUIT OF AUDIO SIGNAL

PURPOSE:To prevent a sound signal from being distorted at the following FM modulating part by providing AGC circuits before and after a pre-emphasis circuit for comprising a convertor circuit in the convertor circujt for converting a VTR reproduction signal into as the prescribed television signal. CONSTITUTION:Right and left channel reproduction systems 3R and 3L demodulate FM audio signals reproduced at a pair of heads HAA and HAB and supply them to a television convertor circuit 20, which is a circuit for converting an inputted demodulation signal into a television signal and has a pre-emphasis circuit 23 and AGC circuit 30 at an anterior stage of a modulating part composed of an FM modulator 24 and AM modulator 27. The AGC circuit 30 is caused to have such a characteristic that the de-emphasis quantity is increased as its frequency rises even if the input level of a sound signal SA is high. As a result the FM modulation can be carried out without causing the sound signal to be distorted from a low level to high one.
