<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of adjusting the length of hatch side end face of a hatch roof side weather strip upon attachment thereof onto a vehicle, to enhance the working ability of the attachment, by providing, on a hatch roof, a means for extending and retracting the end part of the weather strip in association with the operation of a lock device. CONSTITUTION:A hatch roof 2 has a roof plate 3 provided thereof with a lock device attaching box 5. A lock rod 24 is laid below attaching plates 20 on an operating lever bearing plate 18 which is attached to boss parts 15, 16 formed and projected from the box 5, and is reciprocated by means of an operating lever 32 to lock the roof 2. A guide plate 37 and a drive lever 38 which constitute a part of a means for extending and retracting a hatch roof side weather strip 11 in association with the operation of the lock device, are attached to a boss part 17 on the box 5, and therefore, the end part of the weather strip 11 is extended when the lever 38 is rotated.</p> |
