Supply arrangement for facsimile machine in which the printing is obtained by putting a printer ribbon 3 in contact with virgin paper 26 at a printing device 2 by means of a mechanism 4 which presses and tensions the printer ribbon and the paper. The supply arrangement comprises a removable cassette 7 carrying the printer ribbon 3 by means of two spindles 11, 13, one being a carrier 11, and the other a winder 13, on which the ribbon is engaged so as to allow its transfer from one to the other. The cassette 7 is placed between a fixed support frame 1 carrying the printing device 2, on either side of which the spindles are positioned when the cassette is fitted in, and a lowerable framework 5 which carries a part of the pressing and tensioning mechanism 4 and which allows the positioning or retraction of the cassette when it is in the raised position, and the positioning of the printer ribbon against the printing device when it is in the lowered position. <IMAGE>
