PURPOSE:To provide a natural cosmetic containing the oil or fat extracted from the seed of YUZU (a kind of citron), and having excellent feeling and permeation to the skin and high quality. CONSTITUTION:The seed of YUZU which has hitherto been discarded is extracted with a solvent such as ether, hexane, benzene, toluene, chloroform, xylene, etc., and the obtained YUZU seed oil is used as a raw material of the objective cosmetic. The YUZU seed oil is a glyceride composed mainly of palmitic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acid, having moderate emollient action and excellent spreadability on the skin. It can be used in the form of cleansing cream, emolient lotion, rouge, nutrient cream, etc. |
