PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dot recording device capable of suppressing a deterioration in image quality due to mask displacement.SOLUTION: A first mask area is a dot recording area including pixel positions at which a dot is recorded, second mask areas S12, S13 are a dot non-recording area including pixel positions at which a dot is not recorded, and dot recording is performed such that two or more first mask areas among P masks overlap in a mutually displaced state on a recording medium. When a dot charge rate being a rate of dots recorded in the first pass among the entire dots in a first areas inner side of a boundary line forming an outer edge of the first mask area in the first mask area is defined as D1, a dot charge rate of a second area overlapping a first area A1 of another mask in the first mask area is defined as D2, and a dot charge rate in a third area being an area other than the first area and the second area in the first mask area is defined as D3, D1<D3<D2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
