PURPOSE:To make a magnetic field generating means small-sized by fixing a coil for driving in the direction of the optical axis of a lens, which is wound around the optical axis of the lens, and a coil for driving in the direction orthogonal to the optical axis of the lens to lens so that parts of both coils cross each other at about right angles of form an intersecting part. CONSTITUTION:A coil bobbin 17 is attached to a lens frame 13, and four coils 18-21 and a coil 22 for driving in the direction of the optical axis are provided. Since a magnetic field going from the outside to the inside is formed in a gap 233 by the magnetic field generating means, the bobbin 17 to which a lens 12 is fixed is moved in the direction orthogonal to the optical axis of the lens if a current is flowed to coils 18-21 in a proper direction, and the coil bobbin 17 is moved in the direction of the optical axis if a current is flowed to the coil 22. If power is supplied to coils 18 and 20 facing each other, forces A, B, E, and F which act upon coil conductors 18-1, 18-2, 20-1, and 20-2 are synthesized, and the bobbin 17 is moved in the direction of the Z axis inclined at 45 deg. to the X axis and Y axis, and the lens 12 is moved in the direction orthogonal to the optical axis of the lens. Similarly, the bobbin is moved in the direction of the W axis orthogonal to the Z axis if power is supplied to coils 19 and 20. |
