The invention relates to a safety cigarette with a magnetic holding device (ashtray) which is intended to prevent a cigarette from falling off. The cigarette can therefore not roll away and the risk of fire caused by further burning of the cigarette once it has been deposited and the possible subsequent falling off of the cigarette is avoided. The cigarette cannot fall off where a magnetic depositing point has been produced.
