Attachment flange of a rubber hose

The invention relates to an attachment flange of rubber which is formed integrally with a rubber hose having a plurality of layers of reinforcing inserts made of metal or textile fibres, the inserts in the flange being aligned radially outwards, a facing ring and a pressure ring made of steel respectively being vulcanised in axially in front of and behind the inserts and the flange exhibiting bores for connecting bolts. The essential feature of this attachment flange consists in an impact-resistant, low-shrinkage plastics moulding composition with high structural strength in which the radially outwardly extending reinforcing inserts are embedded being disposed between the facing ring and pressure ring.
