The invention relates to a ratchet spanner with integrated torque amplifier which, in normal use, acts as a hitherto known ratchet spanner and, with the addition of an integrated eccentric which by means of a conveying pawl turns the ratchet wheel with external conveying teeth and also with simultaneous addition of a reaction part fitted to the extreme lying opposite the ratchet wheel, achieves at least a torque amplification of 1 : 10 and thus connects via a square socket removed from the ratchet wheel and a connecting square a square or hexagonal socket to the ratchet wheel and, in the example of use, can be advantageously used for lorry wheel nuts or the like with dimensions specially provided therefor, and helps to overcome diverse related difficulties with conventional tools but at the same time, when used as a normal ratchet spanner, has a lockable handle or lever which can be pivoted by removing a catch and is then supported as a reaction part against a fixed object, while the eccentric shaft is turned via a drive square by means of a square spanner.
