MANUFACTURE OF GAS DETECTING ELEMENT

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce easily a high-sensitivity element for combustible gas by calcining the resultant product of settling obtd. by neutralizing an aq. tin tetrachloride soln. in the co-existence of ammonium nitrate and molding the element then subjecting the element to heating and sintering. CONSTITUTION:The aq. tin tetrachloride soln. is neutralized with ammonia in the co-existence of ammonium nitrate to obtain the resultant product of settling and the product is calcined at 400-700 deg.C. The powder obtd. in such a manner is molded to an element shape and the molding is heated and sintered to and at 500-700 deg.C, by which the detecting element is produced.
