PURPOSE:To prevent that degaussing is incompletely executed by connecting a constant voltage circuit to detect that a capacitor reaches a prescribed voltage and a timer circuit in which the prescribed time can be set, by an AND part and starting to drive a degaussing head by an output signal of the AND part. CONSTITUTION:A constant voltage circuit 5 to detect that a capacitor C2 for driving a degaussing head 7 reaches the prescribed voltage is installed, the constant voltage circuit 5 and a timer circuit 2 capable of setting the prescribed time are connected by an AND circuit part 8, and by the output signal of the AND part 8, a switching circuit 4 for starting to drive a degaussing head 7 is controlled by the output signal of the AND part 8. Thus, after a magnetic head 9 is satisfactorily abutted on the degaussing head 7 by setting the timer time, the degaussing head 7 can start to drive the degaussing head 7. Further, even when the prescribed voltage charging time of the capacitor is longer than the timer setting time, the trouble that the degaussing is started before the capacitor reaches the prescribed voltage is eliminated. |
