PURPOSE:To obtain an anticlouding plastic lens having a good durability by making up from a polymer obtd. by a radical polymerization of a mixture of the 1st specific monomer, the 2nd specific monomer and a surface active agent in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator. CONSTITUTION:The titled lens is prepared from at least one or more of the 1st monomer shown by formula I wherein (a) and (b) are each 0-6, and (a)+(b)=6, (m) is 1 or 2, and at least one or more of the 2nd monomer shown by formula II wherein R1 is a hydrogen atom or CH3, R is 1-10C alkylene or an org. residue shown by formula (IV) or (V) and formula (III) wherein R2 is a hydrogen atom or CH3, R3 is 1-10C alkyl or aryl group and the surface active agent. The surface active agent comprises preferably a nonionic surface active agent. The radical polymerization initiator comprises an org. peroxide or an azobiscompd. |
