This barrel is of the type in which means are provided to allow the detachable fixing of the detachable bottom 4 to the body 2 of the barrel and in which the fixed bottom 3 supports a conventional wooden tap 5, intended to be connected to the connector 8 of the flexible container facing the detachable bottom 4, by means of a flexible pipe 9. On the one hand, the connector 8 of the flexible container is fitted with a closing device such as a tap or valve 18 and, on the other hand, the detachable bottom 4 is integral with a crown-shaped part 2a of the body 2 of the barrel with which part it is capable of being connected, using detachable connection means, to the body of the barrel, along a diametral joining plane 11 located under one 12 of the hoops 12, 13, 14 for assembling the barrel,itself integral with this crown-shaped part 2a. <IMAGE>
