PURPOSE:To easily perform the automatic replacement of magazines by independently raising/lowering and stopping at a fixed position respectively the first and second magazine holders supporting two magazines during the assembly of a semiconductor device or the like. CONSTITUTION:When the right side magazine 1-1 reaches the highest position and the left side magazine 1-2 reaches the lowest position, motors 18, 19 are stopped by signals of sensors 34, 37; and when the lowest lead frame 2 in the magazine 1-1 is fed out in a predetermined time and a connecting member 13 reaches the rightmost position via the operation of a cylinder 12, the magazine 1-2 is stopped at the A position by the signal of a sensor 30 and the magazine 1-1 is stopped at the C position. Next, the magazine 1-2 is raised at an increment of one pitch via the positive rotation of the motor 19 to feed out the lead frame. On the other hand, the right side magazine holder 24 is stopped for a fixed time, and during this time the vacant magazine 1-1a is removed by an automatic magazine exchanger, a new magazine is fitted, which is shifted to the lowest position via the reverse rotation of the right side motor 18. |
