PURPOSE:To enable a paper to be smoothly discharged, by a construction wherein an arm member capable of being freely taken out and a gear rotated by motive power of a drum are disposed on the downstream side of a paper wound around the drum. CONSTITUTION:A thermal head 4 is pressed against the drum 6, which is rotated counterclockwise, and an ink of an inked paper 3a is transferred onto a recording paper 12, thereby printing. Thereafter, the first arm 7 for discharging the paper is placed into a gap L between the leading end and the trailing end of the recording paper 12 wound around the drum 6, thereby discharging the paper 12 in the direction of an arrow B. In this case, the paper can be discharged while the arm 7 is not brought into contact with the printing surface of the drum 6. A projected part 14a of a slider 14 is engaged with a fastening piece 15b of a paper-discharging arm 15, and by movement of the slider 14 in the direction of an arrow A, the arm 15 is turned clockwise with a point 15a as a fulcrum, whereby a paper-discharging arm 25 is turned clockwise with a point 25a as a fulcrum. A gear 27 is then pressed against the drum 6, thereby rotating the gear 27 clockwise, and a gear 28 is rotated counterclockwise, whereby the paper 12 is discharged in the manner of being scooped up by the gear 28. |
