PURPOSE:To separatively feed sheets one by one stably by providing a sheets detecting means between a relay roller pair and a reverse roller and near the relay roller pair and changing the rotating direction of a drive motor based on this detection. CONSTITUTION:A sheets detecting means 74 detecting the tip of sheets is provided between a relay roller pair 73 and a reverse roller 72 and near the relay roller pair 73. An extraction roller 70 is rotated in the feeding direction as a result of the rotation of a drive motor in one direction to feed the sheets in the feeding direction, a feed roller 71 is rotated in the feeding direction, and a reverse roller 72 is rotated in the direction returning the sheets. The above actions are continued until the tip of the sheets is detected by a sheets detecting means 74, and when it is detected, the drive motor is reversed, and the relay roller pair 73 is driven in the feeding direction. Accordingly, sheets can be separatively fed one by one stably via the positive and reverse rotations of one drive motor. |
