PURPOSE:To reliably convey plate materials one by one without injuring the surfaces of the plate materials by providing a lifter rising by the plate thickness every time a plate material is conveyed and an air cylinder extending/shrinking in the conveying direction of the plate materials on the rear end of the plate materials. CONSTITUTION:Stacked plate materials are shifted on a caterpillar conveyor 16 and are shifted to the predetermined position at the center of a lifter 13. Next, the plate materials are borne by a roller conveyor 15, and the front ends of the plate materials are brought into contact with a stopper material. Here the height of the lifter 13 is adjusted so that the uppermost plate material is made equal in height to the gap between the upper edge of the stopper material and a limiting member. In addition, a presser plate 24 presses the surface of the rear end of the uppermost plate material. Next, a cylinder 22 is extended, the rear end face of the uppermost plate material is pressed by a presser plate 25, the front end face of the plate material passes the said gap and is further conveyed forward by rollers. Then, the lifter 13 is raised by the plate thickness. These actions are repeated, thus the plate materials can be reliably conveyed one by one without injuring the surfaces of the plate materials. |
