PURPOSE:To enable both rasters of both-side beams and central beam to coincide by preparing magnetic-field controlled elements which surround passing holes for both-side electron beams out of three electron beams in inline arrangement and have a plane perpendicular to the axis line connecting both centers of the passing holes. CONSTITUTION:In a color picture tube being three electron beams in inline arrangement, two beams on both sides are matched on a fluorescent screen by properly regulating magnetic-field distribution of a deflecting yoke, and the remained aberration of both rasters of both-side beams and centeral beam is corrected by magnetic-field controlled elements 8a and 8b. The elements 8a and 8b, with a plane perpendicular to the line connecting both centers of the both-side beams passing holes 7a and 7b, are arranged in the posture in which the holes 7a and 7b are surrounded. Hence selecting perpendicular direction length of elements 8a and 8b enables both rasters of both-side and central electron beams to coincide, and quantity of elements can be reduced against in the past. |
