PURPOSE:To permit the change over of a finder optical system to prescribed two stages of visual field ranges by providing a tumbler mechanism which can energize finder lenses to both of the front end and rear end positions on the optical axis. CONSTITUTION:The finder lenses 11-15 constituting a variable power finder 10 are contained in a case 21 and are so arranged that the magnification of the finder optical system changes and the visual field range can be changed over to two stages as only the lens 12 occupies the front end or rear end position in the optical axis direction. A torsion spring 44 mounted between a lever A31 and a lever B41 attains the ultimate torsion when a driving pin 11 advances and arrives at a certain point. The energizing force thereof which is elastically repulsed till then is then converted to the energizing force to rotate the lever 41 in a counterclockwise direction by the so-called tumbler mechanism to invert said energizing force. The lever B41 is therefore turned to move the finder lens 12 up to the specified rear end position even if the driving pin 110 is stopped at the prescribed position by a planetary gear mechanism.
