PURPOSE:To enable to clearly distinguish that stored in the memory that an original image information is read from multiple carrier originals, by installing a print-wheel on a roller edge of an original read surface side of post-deflection rollers in pair, supplying ink by an ink unit to this print-wheel, and applying a marking to an original by the original with this print-wheel. CONSTITUTION:While the original 2 is fed by an original automatic feeder 7, engaged in post-deflection rollers in pair 9, and an original image is read in a target glass 1 section, ink is shifted to a print-section 18a of a print-wheel 18 that turns together with a post-deflection drive roller 14. A marking 21a is applied by contacting this print-section 18a with the read surface side of the original 2. The normal original and multiple carrier originals can be clearly distinguished by applying such a marking 21 to the post-deflection roller 9 section.
