The method comprises: a user equipment (UE) transmits updated metadata; acquire a metadata index value corresponding to the updated metadata; and the UE announces the acquired metadata index value, so that the problem of failure in accurately and effectively acquiring, by the monitoring UE, the updated service data provided by the announcing UE when the service data is updated is solved.
