PURPOSE:To obtain sand low in moisture and impurities while attaining to reduce the manufacturing cost of an apparatus, by vibrating the feed surface side belt supported by a fixed receiving stand by upwardly striding the under surface of the flat central bottom part of said belt by a rod shaped vibrator. CONSTITUTION:When turbid water is supplied to a turbid water charging box 8, a feed surface side belt 10a is issued above the surface of water at a constant speed while carries sedimented sand and fresh water is sprinkled over the belt in the boundary from the below of the surface of water to the above thereof from shower nozzles 37-39 to suck and discharge floated fine sand and dust from a suction port 41. Herein, a vibration frame body 28 is vibrated and the above mentioned belt 10a is vibrated so as to strick the flat central bottom part of said belt 10a from below by a rod shaped vibrator to allow impurities such as dust having low specific gravity to float from accumulated sand on the belt 10a and, at the same time, the sedimentation of heavy sand is promoted to bring sand to a compact state and sand low in moisture and containing no impurities is fed out.
