FIELD: ecology.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ecology and can be used for microwave decontamination. Device comprises working chamber, one or more microwave generators, outputs of which through microwave adapters are connected to the working chamber. Thus adapters are made in the form of waveguide segments having a broad wall common with a working chamber, in which there are slots arranged on both sides of the axial line of the broad wall of the waveguide parallel to it, in pairs symmetrically relative to the center of the broad wall of the waveguide. First from the center pair of the slotted holes has a length equal to quarter wavelength in the waveguide, and the subsequent slotted holes have a length equal to half the wavelength in the waveguide, in the center of the opposite broad wall of the waveguide the output of the microwave generator is connected. Invention provides disinfection and sterilization of products and materials with low thermal conductivity in the manufacture of medicines, biologically active additives, tea, grocery and other small and dry bulk materials, viscous liquids with low conductivity, and also for decontamination of infected medical wastes of all hazard classes.EFFECT: device ensures uniformity of microwave exposure on the treated objects which is achieved by the indicated design of the adapters through which microwave energy is transmitted from generators to the working chamber.1 cl, 2 dwg |
