PURPOSE:To simplify the driving mechanism for a tool replacing arm by mounting gears firmly on a revolving shaft of the tool replacing arm, which is included in the tool replacement device of a machining center etc., and by furnishing driving gears meshing with said gears in two positions of these gear movement in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A revolving arm 11 and a tool replacing arm 1 are elevated and sunk by a cylinder 14, one of whose rod ends 14a is coupled with a rotary joint 13, which is mounted rotatably at the top of revolving shaft 11. A gear 19 is fixed to this revolving shaft 11 in its middle part, and meshes with driving gears 22, 23 when it moves vertically. That is, a rotary actuator 24 is installed on the casing 12, and the driving gear 22 is fixed to the upper part of the output shaft 24a of this actuator 24, while the driving gear 23 fixed to the lower part of the same. A gear 27 fixed to the output shaft 6a of another rotary actuator 26 is situated by the gear 23 so that they mesh with each other. |
