<p>A reconversion device permits a rapid conversion from a semi-automatic operation system to a pump system and vice versa for fixed barrel sporting and defense guns without disassembling the gun. When the arm is in a condition for semi-automatic operation, the teeth of the two sectors are engaged in the undercut groove in the support in one of the four-snap action engagement positions of the control handle with the ring. In order to convert the arm in a condition for pump operation it is necessary to rotate the control handle until the teeth are in a register with the two passages of the annular recess in the support having a height larger than that of the remaining recess and to pull the control handle axially thus withdrawing the teeth from the two passages. The control handle is thus disengaged from the support and can be rotated until it reaches the next snap engagement position with the ring. The arm is now in a condition for pump operation.</p> |
