PURPOSE:To prevent the component parts of a structure housing a magnetic disk and a magnetic head and to reduce windage loss during disk rotation by sealing the inside of the structure with gaseous nitrogen. CONSTITUTION:A press filter and an aperture for air circulation are eliminated and a dioxidating agent 21 is packed in the sealed structure. Thus, the components are prevented from rusting while the windage loss during the disk rotation is reduced.
