A fastening device 15 for obtaining electrical contact between a banana plug 17, 18, mounted on a cable 16, and a quick-coupling device 13, 14 on a skin electrode 10 for one-off use has a bottom part 19 and a sleeve arranged or formed on this part for receiving the banana plug. An elastically expanding through-hole in the bottom of the fastening device makes it possible to snap the fastening device down onto the quick-coupling device of the disposable electrode, which then projects out slightly into a channel 21 limited by the sleeve and thereby generates electrical contact with the banana plug located therein. <IMAGE>
