PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition with both high impact resistance and heat distortion resistance, by incorporating specified amount of specific olefin copolymer in a resin composition made up of polyarylate and polyester. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 50-99.5wt% of a resin composition made up of A1: 1-99wt% of polyarylate and A2: 99-1wt% of polyester of formula I (R1-R4 are each H, alkyl, etc.; m is 1-10) (e.g., polyethylene terephthalate) with (B) 50-0.5wt% of an olefin copolymer derived from alpha-olefin (e.g., ethylene) and alpha,beta-unsaturated acid glycidyl ester of formula II (R5 is H or lower alkyl) (e.g., acrylic glycidyl ester). |
