PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition of improved solvent resistance and moldability while retaining high rigidity, suitable for automobile and appliance sectors, by incorporating polycarbonate resin with a polyester resin containing specified diol component. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) 90-10wt% of a polycarbonate resin with a viscosity-average molecular weight 10,000-100,000, having structural unit of formula I (Z is bond or 1-8C alkylene; R is H, Cl, etc.; m is 0-4) and (B) 10-90(pref. 10-60)wt% of a polyester resin with an intrinsic viscosity 0.4-1.5dl/g, consisting mainly of structural unit of formula II (Ar is aromatic hydrocarbon; Z is divalent group; n is 1-30), derived from bifunctional carboxylic acid component (e.g., terephthalic acid) and diol component consisting of 1-45wt% of polyalkylene glycol (e.g., polyethylene glycol) and 99-55wt% of ethylene glycol. |
