PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability in operation of a slide valve by preventing stagnation of air bubbles at the uppermost part in a hydraulic cylinder.SOLUTION: A screw compressor comprises: a slide valve 36 that forms a part of the wall surface of a rotor chamber formed in a casing 10 and adjusts the capacity by advancing and retreating in the axial direction parallel to the axis of a screw rotor; a hydraulic cylinder 30 provided in a lower part of the casing 10; an oil port 24 arranged in a lower wall part 10B of a cylinder chamber 20 of the hydraulic cylinder 30; and a port position changing member 40 arranged in the cylinder chamber 20 and changing the position of the oil port. The port position changing member 40 comprises an upper opening 42A opened to communicate with the uppermost part of the cylinder chamber 20, a lower opening 45A communicating with the oil port 24, and a communication passage 49 connecting the upper opening 42A and the lower opening 45A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
