PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a production system for certificates of seal impressions after improving the centering efficiency of seal impressions, by converting information on seal prints in a register file into that of a prescribed code and then positioning the center of a seal print part. CONSTITUTION:A retrieval processing part 6 sends compression data G on a memory area 8 of a file 7 to an expansion part 10 by a command A given from an operation part 9. Then the data G is restored to binary data F at the part 10 and sent to a conversion processing part 16. The part 16 converts the data F into character codes and 16-notation codes and stores the seal print data H in a memory 17. In this case, the center B2 of a seal print part I of the data H is shifted from the center C2 of an area 18 by (d). Then the data H is extracted through the part 16 and sent to a centering processing part 19 and the center B2 is coincident with the center C3 of an area 21 of a memory 20. Thus the data H is stored in the memory 20. The corrected seal print data H' is extracted and sent to an adverse conversion processing part 22 to undergo binary coding. The binary coded data H' is supplied to an output part 14.
