A turbo-engine with a means of controlling the radial gap between the rotor and the housing. An internal housing of shell-like components with centering seats held at prescribed intervals on neighbouring shells. Housing design which is favourable to assembly, disassembly and maintenance. Example of embodiment applicable to aircraft gas turbines.
