PURPOSE:To measure and inspect the line of foundation together with the line of an anchor bolt, by a method wherein the head of the anchor bolt is screwed into a thread hole of a jig for fixing anchor bolts, the jig being placed on a top plate so that a horizontal groove provided on the top surface of the jig will be aligned in a fixed direction and then, a leveling string is passed through the horizontal groove. CONSTITUTION:A jig 5 for fixing an anchor bolt 3 is provided with a top surface 7 on the upper surface of a cylinder 6 and thread hole 8 is bored at the center thereof in such a manner as to allow the head of the bolt 3 to be screwed thereinto. A horizontal groove 9 for measurement is cut on the top surface 7 passing the center of the thread hole 8 while a ring groove 10 done on the circumferential surface of a cylinder 6. After inserted through a hole in a top plate 2, the head of the bolt 3 is screwed into the thread hole 8 of the jig 5 and the jig 5 is placed on the top plate 2 aligning the horizontal groove 9 on the top surface 7 thereof 5 in a fixed direction. Then, the bolt 3 is mounted on the top plate 2 and under such a condition, a leveling string 4 is passed through the horizontal groove 9 of the jig 5. This enables the simultaneous inspection of alignments of the foundation and the bolt 3.
