PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency, by a method wherein a working platform body, formed in a U-shape in a plane, and a coupling body, serving to intercouple ends across the opening of the working platform body, are so constituted as to form a buoyant body. CONSTITUTION:After a working platform body is tugged to a site in a state to intercouple ends across the opening part of a working platform body 1 by means of a coupling body 2 and a working platform A is positioned, legs 3 of the body 1 are lowered. After working platforms 1 and 2 are jacked up with the aid of an elevating device 4 and the legs 3, piles are driven within a working space S. After a work on the working platform A is completed, the working platforms 1 and 2 are jacked down with the aid of the elevating device 4 and the legs 3 to seat the platform on water surface and pull off the legs 3. Further, through removal of pins 12, the coupling body 2 is pulled off from the body 1 for removal, and after the working plat form A is moved in a manner to prevent contact of the body 1 with the piles built within the working space S, the body 1 is coupled with the coupling body 2 again.
