METHOD FOR DISCRIMINATING UNHULLED RICE AND RICE

PURPOSE:To maintain the control of a hulling rate with high accuracy by multiplying the difference between the max. peak value which is an unhulled rice voltage and the min. peak value which is an unpolished rice voltage by a constant (0.625), adding the unpolished rice voltage to the value obtd. and using the resulted voltage as the unhulled rice discriminating voltage. CONSTITUTION:The rice hulled by a rice-hulling part 1 is air-classified in an air classifying part 2 and is screened by a screening part 3. The finished rice is taken out of a finished rice taking out thrower 6. The hulling rate in the part 1 is automatically sensed by a hulling rate sensor 8. The roll gap in the part 1 is automatically adjusted. The difference between the max. peak value which is the unhulled rice voltage and the min. peak value which is the unpol ished rice voltage is multiplied by the constant (0.625) and the unpolished rice voltage is added to the value obtd. The resulted voltage is used as the unhulled rice discriminating voltage, by which the control of the hulling rate with high accuracy is maintained.
