摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the high-speed printing performance of a printing head to be improved by changing a magnetic flux on the contact part of an armature smoothly and subsequently not allowing the effect of a remaining magnetism to be generated. CONSTITUTION:An armature 18 corresponding to a magnet mechanism is actuated by the elasticity of a leaf spring 20 by selectively energizing a coil 17a of each magnet mechanism, and a printing head is caused to print dots and constitute characters with a printing hammer 22. The armature 18 is formed so that under this operating condition, its contact surface is inclined to allow its thickness to increase on the leaf spring side. In addition, the armature 18 is attached in a positional relation-ship to permit the thickest part of the armature and the suction surface of a core 17 on the magnet mechanism to approach or contact with each other. Consequently, the excess characteristics of a magnetic flux in the magnetic channel becomes very smooth, and a delayed response by a remaining a magnetic flux is prevented. Further, almost no shear force is brought to bear upon the leaf spring 20 because of the one close of a rocking motion of the armature 18, but only a bending stress is generated.
