PURPOSE:To reduce ventilating resistance and obtain prominent heat transmit ting performance by a method wherein the flat surface section of corrugated fin is slanted by a given angle and louvers, whose surfaces are kept in parallel to the flow direction of refrigerant, are punched out to the front and rear surfaces of the flat surface along the whole length of flat surface of the fin. CONSTITUTION:In the heat exchanger, in which a multitude of crests of waveform of the corrugated fin 7 are connected to the surface of a flat fluid tube 1, the corrugated fins 7 are arranged so that the flat surface section 7a, 7b thereof are slanted by a given angle with respect to the flow direction X of inflow refrigerant, which is orthogonal to the direction of connecting the multitude of crests of waveform of the corrugated fin 7, while the louvers 8, 8a, 8b, 9, 9a, 9b, whose surfaces are kept in parallel to the flow direction X of inflow refrigerant, are formed by punching them out to the front and rear surfaces of the flat surface section of fin alternately along the whole length of the flat surfaces 7a, 7b of the fin. As a result, the ventilating resistance of the heat exchanger may be reduced and the heat exchanger, prominent in the heat transmitting performance thereof, may be obtained.
