PURPOSE:To obtain the title compound excellent in physiological activity, especially, carcinostatic activity, by hydrolyzing a specified compound. CONSTITUTION:3-[alpha-(n-Heptafluoropropoxy)perfluoroethylcarbonyloxy] propyltrichlor- osilane of formula I is condensed by hydrolysis at -20-150 deg.C, preferably 0-80 deg.C for several min - 40hr to obtain [heptaluoropropoxy) perfluoroethylcarbonyloxy]propylopolys-ilsesquioxane (HPPPSO). HPPPSO is low in toxicity and excellent in carcinostatic activity, and hence it is administered as a carcinostatic agent in a dosage form such as tablets, pills, sugar-coated tablets, folded powders, granules, syrup or capsules at dose of 800-1mg/kg/day, preferably 500-10mg/kg/day.
