<p>A coin operated switch in which a coin is checked for diameter and thickness by virtue of it being metallic and electrically conductive has contacts S1,S2,S3 and 4 such that contact between S1 and S2 by a coin checks its diameter and contact between S3 and S4 checks its thickness.
