<p>PURPOSE:To display selectively a horizontal distance and an actual distance between a radar antenna and a target by providing additionally a target memory, a write address generator, and a readout address generator. CONSTITUTION:A target memory 5 stores information related to a target, which has been contained through a radar antenna 1, a receiver 2, and a pre-stage processor 3. A write address generator 6 generates a write address corresponding to an actual distance and a horizontal distance between a target and an antenna 1, and a readout address generator 7 generates a readout address of the information of the target memory 5. Also, the generator 6 can generate selectively an address corresponding to the actual distance between the target and the antenna 1, and an address corresponding to the horizontal distance, therefore, in accordance with the generator 6, the information written on the memory 5 is read out by the generator 7, and when it is displayed by a PPI display device 4, the actual distance and the horizontal distance of the target point are displayed on the display device 4 as necessary.</p> |
