PURPOSE:To simplify the replenishment and shut-off of water for batteries, by connecting a water replenishing tank held on a top panel closably attached to the opening section of a battery casing, with the batteries. CONSTITUTION:In a battery type industrial vehicle 1 such as, for example, a fork-lift, provided on its carrier bed with a battery casing 2, a tilatable seat 5 is attached to the upper front surface of a top panel 4 which is closably attached to the opening section of the battery casing 2 by means of a hinge 3. In the above-mentioned arrangement, a cap 6a is fitted on a water supply port 6a projected from a water replenishing tank 6, at the seat 5 position, which is integrally secured to the inner surface of the top panel 4, and a water replenishing port 6c is projected toward the hinge 3 from the tank 6. Further, the water replenishing port 6c is connected to water replenishing plugs 9 for a plurality of batteries 8 disposed in the battery casing 2 through a water replenishing tube 7. |
