Bellows connection for passenger train coaches

The connection between adjacent coaches of a passenger train provides protection for the passengers by means of a bellows type tube. The one-piece bellows (4) is self-supporting and has at its outer edges a rigid frame (2) for attachment to the coaches. Erection of the bellows, following coupling of the coaches, can be performed from within. The frames are secured to the coach bodywork by screws or quick-release fasteners.
