PURPOSE:To stabilize battery performance at high temperature by constituting a solid electrolyte secondary battery with a negative electrode mainly comprising Cu, Cu<+> ion conductive electrolyte, and a positive electrode mainly comprising an inorganic compound indicated in Cun. CONSTITUTION:An all solid state solid electrolyte secondary battery is formed with a negative electrode 3 mainly comprising Cu, Cu<+> ion conductive electrolyte 2, and a positive electrode 1 mainly comprising an inorganic compound indicated in Cun (aV2O5.bMoO3) (n=0.4-0.8, 0.2>=b>=0.01, and a+b=1). By using a reversible positive material comprising oxide actually containing no sulfur which is easily volatile at high temperature, the electrode is stable and has low deterioration at high temperature. The battery whose open circuit voltage drop in high temperature storage is low and easily making it compact and thin can be obtained. |
